Mouse Pointer Disappeared! Help!!

I have download the "Third Reich" PC version (DOS Base) from "the-underdogs.org", when I try to run it on my XP base computer (I have already set the compatibility modes), the program runs fine and the main menu page appears, but whoops! the mouse pointer disappeared! Who can help me out with this?

It probably has to do with the hardware acceleration of you mouse. Change it to the lowest possible setting in the Mouse portion of the control panel.
