OK, I'm a bit afraid to ask, but will guns (AA, AT, etc) be crewed?

The miniature of the gun doesn't include any crew, but the rules assume that the gun is crewed--so you don't have to put an infantry miniature next to the gun miniature in order for the gun to fire or move, or anything like that.

Just a thought, how about dismounted tank/gun crews for infantry figs? There always fun when the tank goes boom and from what I've read about the rules so far, I can imagine a Rescue the Tank Crew mission.

So there are going to be planes?

Sounded like it in the chat. That could be really cool. There was talk of how the scale wouldn't add up for naval units. I would LOVE to see an A&A minis naval game of it's own though.

I don't know, Vogless, I think such detail would be unnecessary. Never liked keeping track of the crews in ASL or MBT (old AH boardgames).

Yeah, I figured the planes would come later. That's going to be really cool. You think they will do a huge pack like SW and D&D?

If a tank is two inches long what kind of land vehicle would be 4 inches long (ie a Huge in WotC miniatures terms)?

Hmmm. How about concrete bunkers/pillboxes/artillery emplacements? How about a stretch of dragons teeth or barbed wire? A radar installation? A V1 or V2 rocket launching site? A railway gun? A landing craft?

"Huge" is only 3 inches.
Not all tanks are the same size, If a Stuart is "Large" then a Jagd Tiger could be "Huge". Do we want to mention;
T-35

Cars that you can put together to form a Soviet armored train?
Or ... dare it even be mentioned ...
a German "Maus" tank? (!!!)

Axis & Allies naval miniatures would be so impressive, dramatic, and just plain neat that I can hardly even begin to think about them. Pre-painted ships for WWII naval battles -- a dream come true! You'd have to have a special scale for them, with tiny aircraft similarly scaled ... :eek:
