Here is the scanned image from Scyre magazine of the infantry figure next to a tank. Thanks ArtBraune for getting this scanned so we can all finally get to see what the infantry figures look like! :D

What do you all think of that pose???
Man that guy must be some shot that he can hold his rifle in one hand like that...
Now that I look at it for a bit I'm starting to get used to the single figure per base. Looks like it will be fairly easy to rebase them if you wanted too. I'm sure that infantry guys will be plentiful after the game has been around a while. Its still a lot easier to re-base a bunch of pre-painted plastic guys then it is to prep, paint, and base a bunch of metal ones.
I'm also really glad that the tanks are not based. I always like the unbased look better. :D

Hah... I just noticed that the first line states that this "November" the game will launch...
I'm sure thought that more official recent info says that the game will launch in mid-September.

Looks good though I can't tell if the rifle is being held behind the back?? The base does make him look a bit taller than he "actually" is.

Yes, only three months to go!

From what I can tell I think the paint job on the infantry fig is quite impressive. I know they are generally excellent these days on the D&D minis, but I must say the pic calms most of my fears in that area.
Something about the pose that is not working for me. I don't think there is anything wrong with it, I wouldn't be able to tell you if there is anything historically or militarily innacurate, but it just wasn't what I expected for the first fig they chose to show us.
Speaking of which, does anyone know the exact rotation schedule of the sneak peaks? I was hoping for every Wednesday or Thursday, but are they going to deliver bi-monthly at least?

Yeah, thanks guys! Isaid before, and I'll say it again. The pose is gofy, but the paint job is sweet. Not the greatest, but for an open the box to put on the table and play fig, it's plenty nice.

all that trouble to do rather outstanding paint job...and then give him that pose...it looks rediculous...I sure hope the other infantry looks better than that...

I'm quite happy with it actualy. In fact, it surprises me how happy I am with it. I really shouldn't be that impressed, but I am. He looks like he's trudging off to war. I can already imagine 4-5 of those guys mounted to a different base, staggered a bit, maybe toss in a small bush, and it will look okay. I'd have more of a problem if he had been kneeling or standing, firing an aimed shot. Rebasing 4-5 of those poses on a new base would look like ranked fire, and be more fitting of Napoleonics or ACW.
He'll do fine for the A&AM game itself, and he's very workable for "other" games. I'm going to double my pre-order for boosters today.

One of the abilities of the T-34 (shown on it's stat card in the preview) is the ability to carry infantry. Maybe that's why the'ye only doing one on a base - to allow you to physically put it on top of a tank without obscuring the tank's details

I still think that the pose of the U.S. infanrtyman as seen is Scrye is awful...
but...cut off the rifle...and he would make a good anti-tank gun crewman...
