I saw two balck & white pics clipped out of a trade magazine...one shows the Tiger I...the other shows a U.S. morter crew(3 men) with what appears to be a 4.2" mortor...kind of thought a 4.2 would be a little large for a squad level game...a 60mm or 81mm would have been better choices...

Now was the mortar crew all together on one base?

all three men were close around the mortor...it appeared they were all on one base....

Well, there's some good news, and further reinforces my hope that we'll see multi-figure infantry squads rather than one man representing half a dozen or more.

Obviously the Tiger was in B&W, but did it look like a solid color, or camo pattern?

I'm still wondering if that light brown we keep seeing isn't the base plastic. It would be great to see some camo! Although, the standard German gray would be sharp on the tank as well.

although the pic of the motor crew is next too an AH minis Tiger I...and those pics are between a blurb on the AH minis starter and the AH minis booster...I do not think that the pic is of a AH minis mortor crew...

1)-the figures and mortor are not mounted together on a base...they appear to be standing independently...

2)-they appear to be TOO detailed for 15mm figures...

3)-the mortor is a 4.2 inch...that is way too big to be represented on a squad level battle field...perhaps in the future a FO team infantry pc. might be used to activate off-the-board artillery...

4)-the crew has camo helmets...look like USMC...and I thought that this set was NW Europe Theather heavy...

I'd have to see the pics to determine for sure, but is it possible that it's a German team? We know MW-LW the germans did use camoflague in both helmets and uniforms.

whoever commented that the mortar team looks way too detailed for 15mm wasn't kidding.

No way the mortar team is part of this game.

Or, I'll state it another way. If that team IS part of this game, then AH is getting royally screwed by the company painting the tanks! A base coat, possibly a quick drybrush to bring out the rivets, and treads. Whereas the mortar team is unbelievably detailed. AH should fire the company painting the tanks and give them to the company painting the mortar team.

But let's face it, there's no way that team is part of this game. No way.

Yeah, no way those are A&A unless the tanks are just prototype paint jobs. If the mortar is A&A, all other 15mm mini makers beware. I just have to say I was floored with the sIG 33. What a pretty model and what a nasy gun! I saw one cutting loose in a show on Dunkirk. It literally vaporized the building it shot at! I knew right there I wanted a mini of one! I also noticed the marking on the side. Nice touch. I hope they produce more histories on trhe figs. I really enjoy reading them.

Yeah. No.

That mortar team is either an extremely detailed mock-up, or an entirely different model. No chance that it's 15mm, or even part of the game system.

It looks almost like 30-40mm scale.

I don't think the mortar team is an A&AM unit. Note that none of the figures are on a base and the detail is too great for 15mm. Would be nice, but I don't think so. Love the Tiger, though!
