at this time I feel that the game would be capturing a much larger fan base if the infantry were mounted 4 to a base (there is still the question of weather multiple single mounted figures represent a squad...if that is so and the infantry are commons...that will ease expressed opposition)...

so right now people are looking at game mechanics...

I also feel that Avalon Hill game support will be a key as well(promos for authorized tournament winners and participants)...

Yeah the more support they show the better the game will be, I've seen great Mini games die because the company didn't keep game support on their list of things to do.

I also hope Avalon Hill will make a book of scenarios with instructions to reanact the famous battles of WWII.

I hope they will do "Missions" books like they have done for Star Wars Miniatures :D

Well I am A&AMed out... they released the info too early, and now its too long until its availiable to the public. And one little sampling a week isnt going to be enough to keep my attention.

Wonder how many others are in this state?

Historical scenarios or a Missions book like Star Wars would be great, and probably necessary to keep the game interesting.

It's not so bad. Advanced Squad Leader players have been waiting for an expansion called Armies of Oblivion for about 10 years. :)

I wouldn't worry pretty soon we'll get the rule book and in a few weeks it will be more then just one mini a week.
