Hopefully not just another lame poll. I'm interested in where people's interest level is compared to their previous mini's experience
Experience Rating:
Advanced - Grognard level, tape measures & terrain tables are the only way!
Intermediate - Play sometimes, possibly with a friends minis or your own
Newbie - Never played a mini's game before
Interest Level Rating:
No Way - AH screwed up, wouldn't touch the stuff
Maybe - I'll take a look, kick the tires, wouldn't mind getting hooked
Gung Ho - I'm in all the way, Oooohra

I voted Advanced and Gung Ho, Although I haven't played any mini games with 50 page rules and tape measures, I have played many plastic pre-painted mini games and that is what this game is going to be.
I'm very excited about this game and I hope it can enjoy the success that the other Wizards miniature games have recieved,

I've been playing wargames for almost a decade now, in various scales, periods and difficulty levels. So I consider myself "Advanced".
I'm willing to give this a chance. I'll definately get -some- use out of the miniatures, regardless of whether or not I choose to continue to collect them or play by WotC's rule set. I already play Flames of War and Battlefront WW2, and both of those are made with 15mm in mind.
It'll never be a replacement for Squad leader, but this game is definately on my list of "Buy".

Advanced and Gung Ho!
Although I'm fairly new to the miniatures games I have been really getting into them for the last couple of years.
I can't wait for this new game to come out. :D
I think we have a biased sample for the statistics. Players "Not going to touch" AAM would not even be reading this forum.
The complete abscense of "Newbies" is slightly surprising. Could it be that anyone who has reached the stage where they search web forums for speculation about games that have not been released yet. Considers themseleves (incurable  ) Erm... moderatly experienced. ;)

I have never played miniatures games, but anything with A&A tag attached, is going to spark my interest one way or the other.

I played HO Scale in high school then we went to GHQ. Used "Angriff" rules. Also played lots of "chart-based" board games that account for armor penetration and the like.
But I am older now and have limited time, so a fast and fun but representative pre-painted WWII minis game is appealing to me. Can't wait for my first demo.

There have been numerous individuals who said they wouldn't touch the stuff based on a number of factors including the collectible nature of the game and not to mention the single based infantry. It's possible these people have gone away and will never return but I doubt it and they'll be back to at least check it out.... ;)

My vote is Intermediate and check it out!!
I've played various wargaming systems for many years, but I'm usually introduced to them by my gaming group. Also, I'm usually the last one to get hooked. Nevertheless, a WW2 game with prepainted minis is appealing, and I am more than willing to try it out. :)
