What a great movie! I had some doubt after reading somebody's rating right here in this REC ROOM. I'm more than happy to say whoever it was doesn't know funny if it came up and bit them in the butt.

This movie had me laughing from start to finish!
Of course it helped being an ole schooler....I caught all of the old movie and tv scenes they placed. "To Serve Lemur"---now that's funny!!!

Doc, I think you've spent too much time in the looney bin.

The monkeys were funny, the penguins were funny, and yes the Lemurs were mildly humorous, but NONE of the main characters were funny, and in total all of the funny parts comprised less than 20 minutes of the movie.

The ending was so bad I felt like I needed to wipe. 6/10 and no more!

Sorry you feel that way Cotten....but anybody who thought Gods and Generals was anything close to a good movie, just doesn't have the level of intelligence to even rate a movie!!! :) So your opinion definitely doesn't count!!!

Madagascar was hilarious....I laughed and laughed....whew....LOL,LOL, I'm still laughing!!

There were several adults in the theater too, who felt the same way. Like I said, it helps to have been a couch-potato so that you pick up the Planet of the Apes, the Outer Limits bits and other TV scenes, but you are probably too young to enjoy such stuff.

Wow! I have never been so glad to be called young! I had to fight going to sleep during the movie! :eek: You can pee on G&G all you want but I still liked it. :D
