Hi,
I just found out about this re-release of RoboRally and I am pleased :D to see it back for sale as I have really enjoyed playing the original release & add-ons.
My question is about the changes to the re-released version will you be able to buy the extra pieces and rules to use with your existing game or will we have purchase the whole game again?
If you could buy it as a pack I would definately be interested.
Cheers.

seems to me that most pieces are new. apart from the bots...
all cards have new artwork and there are new tokens and so on...
dont se why you shouldnt buy the whole set...
also it will be really cheep now... compared to what we who got it
from Ebay or similar payed.. :)

Well having bought the original release and all the extra sets(apart from radioactive?) I do not really want to buy the whole game again.
I would buy the new launch board, player boards and maybe the extra new tokens but my existing cards are just about holding up under the strain.
Just curious to see if they would sell seperately always handy to know if you can buy spares if the originals wear out!.
Thanks. :)

Welcome Oridyne.
I looked through the new game and aside from the new boards. Most of it is just a remake of the old game with a few changes to the look. I don't see myself buying the new game just for the boards. I purchased two Robo rally and all but one expansion before, the new boards really are not worth it.
There are several great websites where you can download board sections and create your own.

One of the biggest benefits of the game coming back into print is (hopefully) being able to replace worn out card decks.
It would be nice to be able to buy the board separately, so you don't have to get everything twice to do the two four board scenarios in the book.

If you go through the customer service center (http://www.wizards.com/customerservice) (Game/Product Question -> Avalon Hill -> All Subs), it states:
"At this time, Wizards of the Coast does not have the ability to sell extra pieces or parts for AVALON HILLTM titles. While this is an option that we are exploring, I'm afraid that we cannot offer a solution at this time."
I hope they do explore this option. They could maybe charge a little bit extra for each separate part (so, the total of which would come out to more than what you would pay for the WHOLE game) but it would still allow people to replace worn out or lost pieces, etc. Other companies do it, why not Avalon Hill? I believe, monetarily, it would even be of great benefit to them in many different ways. And, there's definitely customers that want this option.

I would be *very* happy, if it would be possible to by single parts, too ! :o
I have the "old" German RR (from Amigo; base game and "Crash & Burn"),
but they have never sold single game pieces :(.
That was bad, as my programing cards got very bad with the years ! :( :(
So I would have to buy a complete new base game to get this cards again.
Greetings
