Hello folks ! :cool:
I wanted to add a thread about the new desing.
(Especially if you compare the desing of the new RR by Avalon Hill with the design of the old game.)
My general opinion about this point is:
The new design is good in may ways. Especially for the markes and tokens.
But I have one point which I find not so good;
the design of the programming cards!
Maybe they are a bit nicer then the old ones (more colourfull).
But that they leave the numbers (for the move 1/2/3 cards) from the card corners, was absolutly no good idea :( .
And I wonder why they did not adopt the colouring scheme of the programming cards of the German RR (from Amigo)!
For those from you, which have no idea what I mean:
In the Amigo release of RR, all the *turning* cards (Left+Right+U) have a yellow arrow. And all the move 1/2/3 cards have a blue one.
And the Back Up card has a red one.
And that's the same for the small arrows in the card corners.
That helps you very much to see at a glance which card types you have.
That's why I find the Amigo cards so much better then the old one of WotC.
But I now, I was very sad to see, that the new RR from Avalon Hill did not adopt this good idea :( .
