Ok ok Dumbledore dies but he might come back a la Alsan, and Gandalf. Also the person who killed him was Snape so that was a blow although he may have been working under dumbledores orders(don't ask)

I dunno... the way Snape acted, especially when he screamed at Harry not to call him a coward, I think he actually was a coward; he had taken the Oath, and was more afraid of himself dying than of killing Dumbledore. And I don't think Dumbledore's coming back, he's gone. On the other hand, his portrait is there, and they seem to essentially be people, so it's possible the portrait could sort of fill in. Of course, Harry did say he wasn't coming back to Hogwarts, so... we'll see.

It is a series of books and he is the main character, I hate him because back in the 4th Grade they tried to force me to read it and I have hated him ever since.

Ok at first i did think that BUT the way Dumbldore was talking to malfoy I knew something weird was happening, the body that harry saw might have just been any other body polyjuiced to ook like Dumbledore.
Also Snape was probably told to make it look like he killed dumbledore so that he would be trusted more. Also the note on the locket on dumbledores body said it was from R.A.B. this must be from Siruis' dead brother Regulas Black.
I don't beleive that harry isn't coming back. He has to because he just hasn't learned enought to hunt down Voldemort yet.

I'd tend to think Dumbledore is really dead, and that Dumbledore knew Snape took the Unbreakable Vow. Why? Because Dumbledore is having a fun old time and chatting it up even though Malfoy is about to try and kill him, but when Snape shows up, Dumbledore is for the first time, scared.

Also, what is true of all the HP books? As long as Dumbledore is around, Harry is more or less safe and has someone he can completely trust. I think it was quite intentional (and wise) of Rowling to remove those things which protect Harry - by the time book 7 starts, all those things will be gone, including the parent-love type enchantment that protected Harry for so long.

I agree writer. Dumby is gone. He will of course show up in his portrait and give Harry some advice on matters. Of course Harry will show back up at school to get this advice.

I really believe Snape is bad. He has done alot of questionable stuff, but when I went back and read the sorcerer's stone it is pretty clear he is a bad guy that has been hiding in sheep's clothing.
