Rules Question

Played this last night for the first time and we had a rules question. It involves the space that lets you take a crew member from the person with the most crew. The person who landed on it was tied for most crew with another player. Do they get a crew member or not?

I think they actually can take a crew.

Note that the S&S rulebook makes very carefull disticntion between the definate and indefinante aritcles.

on the Brigde of Tears space:

"Pirate; chose and take a crew card from A player with the most crew cards".

From the rules:

"Encountering this space has no effect if you're THE player with the most crew cards or gold.

Seems a lot like this was done on purpose. Untill something to the contrary shows up in a FAQ, I think 'a' means 'a', and 'the' means 'the'.
