Hey guys,

Here's a quick update on the AH vs. AAMC tourney. AxisRoll has advanced to the final and is waiting in the wings as yours truly faces off against the last remaining AH player, aibrahim. You can see the progression of the entire game at the AAMC site, but here's a quick game summary so far up to the end of J4.

aibrahim recieved axis with a bid of 6, 1INF Ukr,1INF Lib
NA selections have been:
R: Rus Winter
G: Afr Corps, PB
UK: Col Garr (Aus), CW
J: Banzai, Tokyo Exp, and Comb Arms Tech
US: Naval Ind
D-Day has been nullified and Nonagression Treaty is active

Theatre Updates...

Allies have won a hard fought battle in the Atlantic and are starting to make some early landings into WEur.

Germany has managed to hold Karelia and makes significant inroads into Africa. UK has chosen to make their stand with their CW Ally SAfr.

Russia is holding their own on the Eastern Front, and are holding the borders in the Far East thanks to the NAT. Who knows how long though as it looks like Japan is posturing to break the treaty.

A lot of action in the Pacific as Japan has 2 large naval groups... one to keep the Americans at bay, while the 2nd group threatens Australia. The Americans are coming on strong though while the Australians are bunkering up for a majot invasion.

Great game so far and very fun to play. Axis have 2VCs solidly locked up (Ind and Kar) and are threatening to take a 3rd (Aus). Haw is under threat, as are Rus and Cau. The Allies hold on WEur is tenuous at best. Should make for a climactic conclusion... :)

(P.S. Beats the hell out of an LHTR game :D )

Great Game so far, like a Chess match between 2 Masters :) Japan 6 has just been completed and I like Aibrahim's move here. He's moved his northern fleet to the CarI while loading up Japan with INF. He now threatens Haw and Aus. Tough choices for the US here.

Meanwhile, on the Eastern Front, Allies hold Karelia, but looks like Germany's going the southern route and making a push for the Caucasus. These games are so much funner to play than the oh-so-predictable LHTR games
