I've always understood AAM to be a 15mm wargame but, unfortunately, don't have any of my Flames of War stuff here to compare the tanks, for example.
I've seen several comments on this forum about the tanks, for example, being smaller than 15mm scale. Is this true?

I have been posting something along these lines on the FOW forum. It looks like the infantry is 15mm or pretty close to 1:100 scale. Measuring from the bottom of their feet to their eyes or just below their helmet.
BUT, their vehicles are 1:120 scale. So when you put them against FOW they are much smaller. Bummer.
Why they did this I have no idea. Maybe the worlds plastic supply is in running low?

Vehicles are in one variable scale, running in the 1:120 / 1:144 range.
Infantry are very close to 15mm.
Compared to Flames of War, the vehq's are small, foot about the same, though certain figs are larger.
