Greetings...
While awaiting my case, I picked up a starter from the FLGS. According to the back of the box, there should be a quick start guide AND a rulebook. Well, in mine, no rulebook. I went down to exchange it, and his demo pack did not have a rulebook either. And lastly, neither did the starter I exchanged it for. So, IS there supposed to be a rulebook in each starter, and if so, has anyone else seen a run of missing books? The owner is wondering if he just got a bad case, and return the rest.

So, while I have some pieces, I still don't have a book to learn from (I suppose I coulld read it online, but I spend all day at work staring at a screen...

And in an effort to be honest, I returned the good rare with it, a Sig33, and got a Kv-1. While not bad, I tend to play Germans...:(

You're in luck, the rulebook is free on this website. (Albeit, a bit buried.)

Its just me, but I prefer a real, physical rulebook.....

They do have these things called "printers" that can make it physical ;)

I didn't get a set of damage, disruption, or destroyed markers in one Starter set so add me to the crowd of people missing things. :)

Unless they make a text version, I won't print it. Too many cheap graphics in the thing to appeal to the kiddies will eat a print cartridge. Beside, for $25 for the starter and the size of the minis, they can dang well afford a rulebook.

That's a bummer, comrade. Both of my starters had rulebooks in them. The rulebook is pretty nice, actually.

No problems with rulebooks here, but my local store's demo box only had three of the maps in it. :)

Heh, that'll make for some interesting shaped battlefields :)

I got a starter box in mine, but I did not get a rare. I only got 8 figs and 8 cards. I am assuming mine is a major defect? Anyone know how I can sort this out?

If you did not receive everything you should have in a booster or starter, contact Wizards Customer Service line. They have been really good at replacing broken miniatures, missing cards/minis etc for the other miniature games.

Bought three starters, and got everything that was supposed to be there and a few things not even listed on the box (quick start rules, main rules, 4 maps, 12 minis and cards, the dice, and the counters I knew about. The consumer response card and the AH catalog I did not).

Was everyone's dice white? I seem to recall a photo showing another color. I was kinda hoping to get two colors.

You deserve a rulebook. You paid you money, you deserve one. I'm sure if you contacted them, they would send you one. Their contact info is on the back of the rulebook.

DOH!

Seriously, it's ALSO on the back of the Quick Start Guide.

Is there anybody official who can answer this question? I got a booster with a figure/card mismatch. I'd like to know how to get that rectified.

"Anybody official?"
That's why they have a Customer Service department.

I think the suggestion you have been given to call the customer service people is sound - and I would wager is what someone "official" would tell you, too.

Why else would a customer service number exist, if not to assit people in situations like the one you're in?
