Changing a vehicle's facing is free, as long as the unit can move. There is no movement cost to change facing, but a disrupted unit cannot do so.

Which is how I got my first Croc kill last night. Pinned him, moved around the back and kept shooting at him from the back at range 2 with my Panzer IV and Carro Armato.

um... just want to make sure...
if you don't actually move your unit out of a hex, but just change it's facing, it counts as a move... so in your assault phase, you can't change facing AND attack...
am i correct?

Correct (see Vehicle Facing, page 14):
Facing and Attacking: If a unit attacks instead of moving in the assault phase, it can't change facing that phase.
