mosin-nagant
jeep
inspiring lieutenant

Deja Vu!
a pack with two mortars
a pack with two doubles
and both packs with the same last 3 units.

I wonder how many packs with m3 stuarts also get a jeep and an inspiring leftenant?

I only had one with all three. It also had an easy eight, engineer, 2 bazookas and two panzerfausts. Guess that was the AT package...

It is well known that boosters have three Uncommon slots. Each booster will have one mini from each slot:
A) The 5 commanders
B) The 3 MG's + Jeep + sdkfz-222
C) Pz IV, Sdkfz 251, M4A1 Sherman, M5 Stuart, Humber

I personally think this is a very very good system. Each booster is guaranteed to have at least one secondary armored vehicle and a commander. Note that including a commander in every booster is very good for sealed deck.

Well, I picked up a booster the other day that was interesting. I got:

Croc
Sheman
MG42
Japanese leader
Type 89 mortar
2x SS Grenadiers
2x Bazookas

I was surprised to get 2 duplicates.

The common slots are random, except that the distribution is always 3 allied and 2 axis or vice-versa.

The distribution within boosters and within cases is as good as any collectible game ever made. I salute AH/WotC for a job well done.

Hate to admit it, but I agree with Dr C :) I have found with WOTC that when selecting adjacent packaged items (minis or CCG) that you will often see repeats of the commons and uncommons but not the rares. There is likely a formula that WOTC uses to ensure a good distribution within a case...and it works. Hats off

I think I got at Least a booster with two of your c-slot units, but I am not sure.

I think I've gotten pulls with two of the C vehicles as well. I've gotten at least 5 boosters with 2 uncommon vehicles, but I'll have to look at my spreadsheet to see whether or not they were 2 C's or 1 B and one C.

Yesterday I bought 2 boosters (from two shops - silly me) and got as my rares two crusaders. While I like these tanks - especially for North Africa scenarios, I would have appreciated a bit more diversity. The uncommons were quite good and added to their sides (Another Sherman, a Humber ScC, a Commissar, an inspiring lieutenant, a *** MG and a Vickers MG). With my commons I got French and Russian infantries, which I needed dearly and a few other useful additions for large army play.

So I was quite satisfied with the draw, but I am still wondering how I managed the choose 2 Crusaders.

Well if it is truly random, I guess one in 15 times you buy two packs, they will be a matched set...

Doc Cs formula is right in my "case" :D All 12 boosters contained one A one B and one C uncommon. In my 3 starters I got 2 A, 2 B and 2 C one each axis and the other allies.

Except for the rare, the figures in the starter sets aren't random. :)

Vulture, right again. What I was trying to say was that the uncommons in the starters are balanced not only by side but also 1 from each group A, B, and C. That they are always the same ones is just additional info.

I could not resist and bought yesterday another 3 bossters (bringing me to 2 cases and 2 Starters). Again I gor a silly draw. :)

First an Easy Eight :)
Second an SS-Panther :D
Third an ....

Easy Eight ?????

Not a bad draw. Among the commons were 4 Panzergrenadiers. Overall I got 21 units I could use immediately in my different armies and 6 for the trading stock (among these one of the Easy Eights).

The first 15-19 boosters I bought had a good distribution in them - I got one rare of each and a few doubles, but the last 5 gave me 2 Crusaders, 2 Easy Eights and a Phanter - not bad units, but I had hoped for a bit more variety.

My silliest pull was on my last booster when I got a Panther G.

My seventh one...

I really wanted a T-34 :(
