Yeah, I don't see A&A minis winning this one. So I'll abstain to give it a chance.

I like A&A for what it is, but D&D has so many uses for me and others its too easy a decision to vote for that. We use D&D minis for the Skirmish Game, a Dungeon Crawl Campaign and for the RPG. Also you can add in Iconics from the D&D stories and campaigns I grew up reading and playing. I get so much bang for my buck there its the only minis I can safely say is my first priority for purchase.
Sorry. :|

Sorry all, I really enjoy AAM, but DDM is the best in my opinion. No, it's got nothing to do with being all wrapped up in fantasy play...it has to do with ROI. I can use the DDM for both skirmish and RPG, thus twice the ROI that AAM has.

I'd vote, but I won't subscribe to another forum just for the sake of voting there. They say I cannot vote. So be it. As for my preference, even playing since the time of Basic D&D in '80, I still prefer A&A miniatures. The first thing I tought when I saw the Harbinger minis coming out is "Why did nobody ever think of this for WWII?".
Anyways, the poll is slanted. It's posted on the DDM forum, for starters, and we have to register just to post there. Hey, Sinister, why don't you start the same poll -here- and see the results? Both polls would obtain wildly different spreads, IMHO.

Same here - I can't vote either. I'd vote for A&A, but then I'm biased because I don't own, will never buy, nor ever play Star Wars or D&D. Nothing wrong with them that I know of, I just have no interest in those genres.

Actually the poll is where it is because it's for the Knowledge Aracana magazine which covers AH/Wizards online community. I figured there would be lots of DDM people voting though. If you have a wizards online community user name you can vote there.

Well, Knowledge Arcana shouldn't have posted there if they expected to see non-skewed results. Either post at all forums and add the results, or at a neutral place. I mean, it's like asking if ppl prefer Windows or Linux on the MSN website... COME ON!
Sorry if I sound bitter, but bad management like this produces bad statistics, which gives bad press to other entries.
On another level, let's point out that AAM has been out for less than 2 months, while the other contenders have been out for more than a year, with many expansion sets out.

I've never been to the DDM forum and I was able to vote.

Whoa there! I'm the one that put it on that site. That site IS a neutral site. It's not the D&D forums, it's not the star wars minis forums, and it's not avalon hill.
It wasn't meant to be collective quantative data analysis, it was meant to be fun. AH and Wizards aren't going to use this poll for anything. I'm a big fan of Avalon Hill and merely wanted to rock the vote for A&A. It's truly not that big of deal. There's nothing to worry about. Don't vote unless you want too and trust me they aren't going to shut down a mini line because of my poll. This isn't about management at all, it's just a chance to vote for a game you like!
