Vassal A&A Minis?

Has the Vassal Module been completed yet? I have downloaded the 1.1 version but there's never anyone online there.

Any word on that?

The person who made the mod hasn't posted on these boards or updated the mod since it came out. I'm almost considering taking a shot at updating it myself :D . I get on every so often, but as you said, there never seems to be anyone on.

I'm currently trying a PBEM game with a friend using that mod for Vassal.
The only real complaint I have is that I wish the hit counters were a little smaller.

Roguetrada wanted to do the mod so I gave him space (I was working on one myself). Based on feedback from MaxMinis I was encouraged to put one together and I'm restarting the effort currently and should have something pretty well playable end of next week.

How does one do a PBEM game? Find an opponent, first. Second, get their email address. :)

To save time getting the game started, come to some sort of agreement as to who will deploy first and who will get initiative for the first turn so that you don't need to waste extra time just sending those single die-rolls back and forth.

Anyway, start the AAM mod in Vassal, Begin Logfile, do all the stuff you're going to do for your part of the turn, End Logfile, then email that file to your opponent. He'll open it, see what you did, start a new Logfile, do his stuff, save it, send it to you, and so on.

Just checked the board Saturday night and 7pm, only one in A&A room. But when I checked the server stats it did show the A&A room and many others. When you look at past month stats there has been at least 2 people playing A&A. I'm encouraged.
