Title: Dashing for the Coast (Bieville France 1944 to the North of Caen)
Synopsis: The only real German counter-attack of D-Day (June 6, 1944) was staged by the 21st panzer Division. Tanks of the 22nd. Panzer Regiment launched a counter-attack along a narrow 3 mile corridor between the Canadians on Juno beach and the British on Sword beach. The objective was to reach the Coast at the town of Lion sur Mer and push the Allies back to the sea. In their path were the men from the British 185th Infantry Brigade supported by antitank guns and tanks from the Staffordshire Yeomanry.
Victory Conditions: The Axis player must exit at least 3 of his vehicules from the map edge made by BAKER-2 and ABLE-2 as to map configuration 5: "Hill 107" before the end of turn 7 to be the winner. Any other result is an Allied victory.

Aftermath: Only six PZ IV's and some supporting infantry were able to reach the coast; Their stay, however, was short lived and within a few hours the arrival of the transports and gliders of the British 6th Airborne directly overhead forced the entire 21st Panzer division to pull back for fear of being trapped. The counter-attack had failled but the city of Caen was now beyond Allied reach.
