1. There have been several questions regarding the Mosin's inability to move and therefore mount a transport without a nearby command unit. This seems clear and falls into the logic that these conscripts wouldn't know what to do without being told. However, using the same rule interpretation, if this unit is already on a transport, and for some reason there are no friendly commanders nearby(especially if this is becaused the commanders have been destroyed) then the Mosin-Nagen unit is "trapped" on the transport forever, correct?
It seems to me that this unit would also respond to the commander of the vehicle to "get the h*ll off my tank" if so ordered (especially if there were no other command units there to countermand such an order.) So perhaps there could be a rule allowing this.
2. You folks at AV have done a great job IMHO of depicting various units capabilities and restrictions/flaws with very little rules/special abilities. Which leads to the following; unlike the modified US Sherman tanks which had the flamethrower mounted in the turret next to the main gun, the Churchill's flamethrower was mounted low and in the forward hull machine gun position. Perhaps this weapon (flamethrower) should be restricted in its field of fire in a similar manner to the Lee's hull mounted 75mm, siG33 or Jadgpanther weapons, if the goal here is a higher degree of fidelity/historical accuracy. The only change that would be needed is to restrict the "three 6's" rule to "in front of this unit."

Correct.
