I just bought Battle Planner 5 and i want to view an image of the piece as well as the stats.
It says; To display your own figure image store the below .jpg in your Battle Planner program folder. And as an example it shows lrpics\PD001.jpg
Do I have these jpgs spomewhere with Battle planner or do I have to go out and download them from somewhere?
Anyone else have Battle planner 5. I am going to make inventories for all my games this weekend. just have to figure out the jpg thing.
Thanks

My understanding is that you have to supply the pics. From the help.
"The unit preview will not only display the unit’s dial and other stats but also a picture of the unit. Due to legal restrictions, these pictures must be added by the user. The location for these pictures and the file names to use for the picture files will be listed in the area where the picture would normally be displayed. Several collections are available for download from other users by searching the internet."
Each game/module will have its own subfolder in the BattlePlanner folder - the DD Minis one is /ddpics/.

I've used Battle Planner for SW Minis and A & A, and it is a great program. But, you do need to download the pictures one at a time by right clicking and doing a "save picture as" from the A & A Base Set Listing. I usually just make a dummy folder on my desktop and bring them in using the filename suggested by BP. In this case, each picture should be "bs01.jpg, bs02.jpg, etc." for each numbered mini. The I transfer the whole bunch when I'm sure I've got them all to an "AAPics" file in BP 5.....works great and is very handy for id'ing them. If you've got a high speed connection, PM me and I'll send you the file if you wish......Bob

Had to edit set II because many of the Axis were listed as Allies.
