This is the German K43 semi-automatic sniper rifle. 10 round detachable box magazine, telescopic sight and accurate. They also used the standard infantry rifle, the Mauser Kar 98k bolt action carbinehttp://world.guns.ru/rifle/mauser_k98_r.jpg with the addition of a scope.
