Hey folks, this is the final match of the AH vs. AAMC Tourney at the AAMC. For your info, the AHers will win the tourney by a score of 23-8 once this final match is done (1st round 1 pt/win, 2nd round 2pts/win, 3rd round 4 pts/win, 4th round 8pts/win - values halved if victory over player from same club)

We are playing with Enhanced 3.1 rules and Axis Roll is the Axis with a bid of 2INF in Libya.

Germany faces a crippling loss in SZ15 as he loses a BB and loaded TRN in exchange for the UK DD.

-UK takes CG and sets up a Garrison in Aus. Montgomery sends Rommel packing in Egypt.

J1
-Japan demolishes most of the UK and US Pacific Fleets. Time to get all aboard the Tokyo Express.

US1
-Roosevelt declares war on Japan and gets the US Naval Industry going. Troops are also sent to Europe and Africa to help the UK.

-A Big Battle ensues in Ukr with heavy casualties for the Germans.

-Germany decides against reinforcing Africa and goes with supporting the Luftwaffe instead. Germany's Panzers retake German territory with their lightning fast attacks.

-UK sends assistance to the Russians in Karelia while keeping prepared for a possible Sealion

-the treacherous Japanese conduct another sneak attack, this time against Russian forces in Buryatia, thus breaking the Nonagression Treaty.

US2
-US Forces have their first victory in the Pacific with a successful landing at Guadalcanal.

R3
-in exchange for the good will shown at Karelia, Russia sends reinforcements to help support UK forces in India who are under threat from the Japanese.

G3
-In a daring move, German FTRs and BMBRs fly over Karelian airspace, and destroy a UK BB and TRN resulting in a crippling loss to the Royal Navy.

-In the Atlantic, UK makes a move to the North Sea but is unable to sink the German SUB. Meanwhile, in SE Asia, the Allies keep trying to maintain their hold on India.

-In a huge Power Move, Japanese forces amass in French-Indochina, in preparation for a massive attack on India.

-In the Pacific, US follows up Guadalcanal with another successful attack at Wake, while US SUBs start raiding Japanese convoys. There is another major disappointment in the Atlantic as German forces once again continue to frustrate the Allies, evading detection and killing a US DD in the process. The Allied Atlantic Fleet is under serious threat.

I was wondering how does a number one contender get pick after one of guys win the belt?

Also, this has been said and said, but I will say it again. AARe ROCKS!
This is the only gameset where there is none stop action on all fronts! I love the way, the Allies must deal with the German Navy game after game after game.

Hey Doc,

Initial Top 10 rankings will be based on tourney results. After that, it is a ladder system, whereby defeating other players will result in increased rank (with a bigger promotion resulting in defeating higher ranked players).

I should have more on the specifics soon up at the AAMC site.
