what do you guys think:

during the second assault phase, one of your pieces w/ a facedown casualty marker is going to attack a piece. through our house rule, you can move and fire during the assault phase.

my question is, when this piece moves, and it envokes defensive fire, can you disrupt it??
like, i want some way to prevent it from moving to get LOS to attack one of my pieces by disrupting it through defensive fire

what are your thoughts??

Well if that's how you've decided to do it.. Why would the unit not provoke defencive fire?

the piece would provoke defencive fire, but if it already has a face down casualty marker, would having that piece going through a round of defencive fire effect it?

Remember that defencive fire gives a face-up disruption counter and immediately ends the movement. Now it's up to you guys and your House Rules to decide if that means you can still fire or not. If it can, then the defencive fire's face-up disruption does come into play for the -1 to hit.
