Because of unforseen issues with our server room this afternoon, there is no way I can update the site today.

So let's discuss what's going on in the future instead.

Next week:

Today's scenario on Monday plus a new one on Friday.

As requested: A blank (clear terrain) map and another one with just roads.

Another unit analysis article.

Scenario Templates

This is going through the approval process now, so once that's done I can put it online. It will include:

Blank scenario card (front and back)
Example scenario card
Counters for all the units in Set I & II
Graphics for maps
Graphics for nationalities, objectives, north, etc.
Guidelines for putting together scenarios

The important thing with the scenario cards are there will be certain things on the cards you can't change if you want to use them, such as the Wizards & Avalon Hill logos, legal text, etc. It's not all that much.

Speaking of Scenarios

I'm going to start a forum thread for each scenario we put online now. I'd like to hear how it played out for different people and generally keep score to see which side (Axis or Allied) is doing better for a given scenario. Depending on how people participate, the collective outcome of a scenario may effect future scenarios or otherwise provide players with a way to affect things.

Other outstanding items

I haven't forgotten about the diorama contests or the hellcat issue. Waiting on responses from people who I will continue to prod.

My apologies for the update issues today.

This is excellent news indeed. I've been waiting to see what develops on this front before I leap into scenario design of my own. With these tools, we'll be able to make custom maps with much more ease! If you have access to the right IRL maps of some tactical skirmishes (I have a few I will be using) you could design some interesting realistic battles. I'm soooo excited now!! Thank you very much!

The M44' Scenario Ranking works very well...

Awww you did read my thread.

Thanks bob a clear terrain map will be great and don't forget terrain tile hexes with different roads (straight, curved, forked, etc) on them so we can build away. Well that is when you find the time along with everything else you are doing.

And as always thanks for all you efforts.
