What do you get in a booster?

Sorry but Im a new player. I come from the realm of Star Wars where the boosters are all the same: 1 R, 2 UC and 4 C.

I havent bought any boosters yet. I am miniless :(
How do the boosters come in A & A? I saw someone who said he got 4 vehicles in 1 booster. I was just wondering.

Well first, there are nine units in any given booster. 1 Rare. Usually 2 or 3 uncommons and 5 or 6 commons.

Missed this. Boosters are a square box about 8 inches tall, 2 inch by 21/2 wide. Little bigger than what's needed but the mini's don't get crushed and the design of the box is pretty nice.

I routinely get 3 vehicles in a booster. 4 is a bit scarce.

Well if you are new to the game do not play the axises. If you do you are ( like me) in for some serious "heart ach".
I just bought another set II booster and once again out of the nine units two were axisis. This is a total joke and is no fluke. My group and I over the last week or so have bought over 15 booster packs ( from diffrent game stores) and this is the typical spread.
I still do not have a Nashorn or Brumbar and only four panzerganadiers( these are common units for axis infantry).At this point ethier WOTC is doing this to drive up the axises singles price or they simply just have people at the packaging factory just stuffing the boxes with whatever is at hand!

Example

1. Extra cards in box
2. Missing stat cards
3. Mismatched cards and figs
4. 6 vehicles in one pack
5. No vechicles in a pack

All the above has happened to us in both set 1 and 2 :mad:

What does WOTC have to gain by driving up singles prices? They sell them by the box knucklehead.

think about it, the higher the price for singles, the more attractive a booster pack would seem.. 25 bucks for a tiger??? I would rather have 2 boosters..

hey buy the starter to see if you like the game and its helps to have a group of people to trade with, so you may biuld a army. the boosters are so radom and unpredictable that you end up dropping a lot of money or if your lucky its works out for you and you get what you want. the thing is you can make out on trades, if you get a king tiger and you dont play the germans you just made big money and trade for what you want 2 tanks for 1 or i seen a guy trade a whole french army for a tiger1, 10 squads and a 2 tanks.

Yea I got a starter on backorder from the shop right now. I like random boosters and I think Im gonna collect this stuff too rather than just play it. I did the whole Micro Machines thing (I got thousands and its fun to set up battles and stuff).

So are we decided then on the 1-3-5 ratio? Usually anyways.

Yep. And the units you get are varied. Waffen-SS has not had luck pulling Germans, but not everyone has that kind of luck. I've pulled mostly Russian and German. It's the US that is lacking from my perspective.

10 Boosters - 2 King Tigers, 2 IS-2's, Brummbar, MkIV F2, 2 Valentines and the Chi Ha.

This is a collectable game and pulls are going to be random. You will always get a rare, 3 uncommons, and 5 commons. You may not think that the "rare" that you get is really rare, but again, welcome to collectable minis.

I have only opened a couple of boosters because my wife is going to get me a load for Christmas. In the boosters that I have opened, I have seen a decent distrobution. I have a SS Pazer IV, 2 Guards T-34/85, Brumbar, M24, and Rhino. I also got a couple of each basic infantry (U.S. paratrooper, German Panzergrenadier, Russian SMG, and SNLF paratrooper.
