Market Garden was hampered by many blunders from the outset. One of the primary mistakes was in the route chosen to relieve the paratroopers during the operation being both narrow and well defended. To win the allies must exit the far board edge inside 10 turns with at least ½ of their force intact. All other outcomes result in a German victory. Place the maps in the following order to form a long 4 map road, Dog-2 , Able-2, Charlie-1, Baker-2. All maps ignore hills and all roads are considered narrow giving no movement bonus. Open hexes are marshy meadows, this means vehicles roll a D6 when moving across them on a result of a 5 or 6 they get a face up disruption counter that does not remove at the end of that casualty phase. German units gain + 1 to all cover rolls as they are well concealed. Also all German units deploy as paratroopers during this battle in any forest or town hex to represent well concealed ambushes being sprung. The XXX Corp spearhead consists of 2 x M4 Rhinos, 3 x M4A1 Shermans, 2x Cromwell, 3x Archers , 4x M5 Halftrack, 2x Humbar, 1X Inspiring Lt., 2x SMLE , 1x Vickers MG. This column enters the board along the road on Dog-2 on turn 1. The German roadblocks consist of 3x Pak40, 3x PanzerFauste, 2x OberL, 4x Kar98,and 2x Mg42. [INDENT]The game lasts 10 turns.
