I would like to see a Campain game. This way as you play your units can get Xp for their battles. If anyone asked this question already Im sorry. Thanks Pete

I've been thinking about it in a big way, but I think that I'm going to need to wait until at least set III. When I'm ready (already working on maps) I will have the entire European map with each area segmented into many mini maps (3x2 of the regular maps).
I wanted to recruit some of you from the board to act as supreme commanders for the various countries or army group commanders depending on the scale I settle on (maybe both – one to determine how points are allocated and the other to distribute/organize in an area). These commanders would send down orders and the players in my area would act as the commanders to play the game with the forces on hand.
I’m playing with some time frame rules to allow exploitation of weak lines (advancing to another map with the same force) and rules for “capturing units”, as well as some basic economics tied to having possession of economic areas.
I really wished that the releases were parallel to the dates, but I understand the why they didn’t. So I’ll just have to wait a bit for a better balance of pieces before I go for the whole thing.
Will probably do something on a smaller scale first, like the invasion of France. Just for s%#&$ and giggles.

Thanks, you’re at the top of the list.
(sorry for this grotesquely unnecessary post, but I will forgive myself for my 100th post)

Sounds pretty fun, I guess some people from ehre could be able to fight some of the battles and report results if you want.

I cant salvage the tank because I over killed it. defense + 2 hits you can salvege the tank. What do you think of my Idea? Thanks Pete

I'm not sure how an XP-based system would work, but I really like Type-A's mega-campaign idea. It could be sort of a grid of battlefields, where the winner of one battlefield would enter from a new battlefield from that side. That would give the side with more winners a flanking advantage. Commanders who win the objective earlier than others could be given movement turns before the opening or a wider opening zone, allowing their soldiers to take up key positions.
If there's any way I can help, just ask.

My friend and I are working on a quick set of rules to run a campaign using the Axis and Allies Europe game board to move around armies. Clashes between these forces are then played out via AAM.

It sounds very interesting. I hope it will be possible to download:)
