Expansion? Please?! :)

I find it odd that this game doesn't get the exposure it deserves in many of the forums available to board gamers. That being said...

after MANY hours spent playing this game, I wondered how aloud: "How is it that we have a 'Hotel' side and no tiles that are 'hotel rooms' for our 'population' to rest their weary heads?! We need some add-on tiles folks! Maybe tiles that you stack on top of tiles that you already own. Similar to the way Caylus is handled.

I know this is a pipe dream... but could be done. :)

Door connections would be interesting with stacking tiles.

We like this game quite a bit with our group, but this is a game near the end of a long list that I'd like to see expansions for. There are too many others I'd rather see.

Unfortunately, the new AH only seems to do expansions for their craptacular miniatures...

How unjust would it be if AH released an expansion for this game before, say, Battle Cry or Betrayal? I would tear my hair out and then sob quietly in a corner for a while.

...or Risk 2210 for that matter. Almost all the work for an expansion is already done. It's just a matter of making it look nice, packaging it up, and releasing it.

(I read somewhere that AH let the license on Battle Cry expire. Wouldn't it be cool if Days of Wonder picked it up and put the care into it that they've put into its sister game Memoir '44?)

How about Cosmic Encounter? There is expansion material ALREADY made (additional powers, moons, Lucre). I was very disappointed when the game was issued by AH with ONLY the original gameset, with none of the fantastic expansions that were made by Eon (and faithfully reprinted by Mayfair) years ago.

AH let the license expire on Cosmic Encounter, and considering how annoyed its creators were with how AH treated their game, AH won't be doing anything with CE for a LONG time...
