Looking for the thread containing Dice Tower build from booster

Hey Guys,

I saw somewhere on the internet (and I think on this forum) a dice-tower build with a booster. Can anyone remember this? And give the the link to it? Or even better, how to build one meself?

That's pretty clever. I still see dice "bowling for soldiers" when they come out the chute, at least on our card table. I picked up an octagonal wooden dice tray from a bar supply outfit on the web (~$16.00). As opposed to a small, light cardboard box/lid, it stays put, and the dice tend roll more than slide when tossed. Works great with all the A&A games. Thanks for the tip from a post back in Sept...

I made these shortly after my first game. Got tired of picking dice up off the floor or tryint to remember where the units were before they were mowed over by dice. Now the only problem occurs when I don't flip the cup over fasr enough.

PS These have seen alot of use and abuse.

I use a hat box top that my wife let me borrow. We call it the death box

We have dice boxes constructed from wood that stand about 2ft. high and sit on the floor next to each player.

The box itself is double the dimensions of the box top for an original A&A game.

Ive been cutting pictures and stuff of my boxes and have been planning on setting the Set II booster cover on my Axis storages and cut out the Allies and set a swastika were the & is. The same with allies only I cant think of anything to replace the & with, all proably just do the American Star. I have some dice cups. I was gonna get a booster today, all just cut up the empty box and paste stuff around it! I wont try the dice tower, its cool but all proably mess up on it and would rather have something stronger to roll dice in.
