a unit with defense 4 is in a forest hex and another another unit fires at him. The firing unit lands 4 successful dice equaling a disruption. Now the unit in the forest rolls his cover roll and it is successful. Now the question. does the unit in the forest recieve a disruption counter or is it negated since he won his cover roll.... if the case is that the firing unit lands 5 successful dice, then the unit in cover succeeds in cover rolls then he is limited to disruption only.... What if multiple units fired and each only mached the unit in cover's defense and he succeeded at all cover rolls. Thanks a bunch!!

If the unit in cover a) has no face-down markers and b) takes one hit, then it's going to receive a face-down disruption marker regardless of whether it makes its cover roll.

If the unit in cover a) has no face-down markers and b) takes two hits, then a successful cover roll lets it ignore the second hit. It receives only a face-down disruption marker.

If the unit in cover a) already has a face-down disruption marker and b) takes one hit, then a successful cover roll means that the attack has no effect. This can happen once per attack, against any number of attacks per phase.
