There was mentioned that hits during the same Assault phase are cumulative. Does that means that they are not cumulative during the next Turn Assault phase?

Example:
My Sherman is hit for 1 hit and I place face-down Distruption marker upon it. During Casuality phase I put that counter face-up.
During the next turn's Assault phase Sherman has face-up Distruption marker and is hit again for 1 hit. Does that hit counts as face-down Damage marker or it counts as face-down Distruption marker again which is then ignored?

It counts as a face-down disruption marker, but it's not ignored. In the next Casualty phase, the face-up disruption marker is removed, and the face-down disruption marker turns face up. So the Sherman will be disrupted two turns in a row instead of just one turn.

Face-up disruption markers lower the unit's defense by 1, making it easier to hit in the first place. But they don't stack with face-down markers.
