Just to throw this out there for Theos. I had to use the AAEurope version map, as I currently do not have a DMA8 at Classic/Revised scale. With the JUMBO DMA8 map, you may just be able to pull it off !! And now Set III aircraft with sexy stands...DROOL!!!

Break out the bombers in Set X !! Will post some more shots...

Elbowsanchez, I was at the elbowmaster's web site checking out your work. Do you still make and sell the maps?

Aloha!

will post some more complete pictures as soon as I can...

I still make the maps usually per request. This is done as a hobbie in my spare time.

This map is what they call a world wall map DMA8 (8 sections world map); I cut it down to a more playable size, ie remove north / south poles...

The map shown about is based on the AAEurope game. It was one of my original maps. The newer versions have evolved. I also have a Pacific map in this size that I will post with some Pacific theatre units.

Overall I am pleased that AAM's will work for this. This is a map I would normally bring to conventions because it is BIG!!! and requires multiple tables. I am considering making a revised edition in this scale of map.

stay tuned!!

Here are a few more shots. I don't have mega amounts of the Minis, but I think this will give you some kind of idea.

I was assigned to DMA for four years. I had access to the maps but never the inspiration to do something like that. Job well done!

This is brilliant. I really want to try it out with my miniatures now. What was your source for the original world maps, before the numbers and lines were added? Are the modified maps available somewhere?
