View Full Version : cover rolls and commanders
say you field a japanese mortar next to a SNLF captain, does the mortar's target get -2 on cover rolls or just -1?
I've read in the rulebook that SA affecting the same stat twice only work once, even if they come from 2 different sources. Am I wrong?

found it by searching.. it seems that this unit can impose a -2 on cover rolls...

but in the same vein, i'd still like to know about something: do disrupted and damaged stack to give a -1 on defense AND attack?

Special abilities of the same name don't stack, but two special abilities of different names can both affect the same stat or dice roll. The exception is that two commander abilities that affect the same stat don't stack, regardless of their names. A commander ability and a special ability, however, can combine to affect the same stat.
Disrupted and damaged do not stack. See page 20, "Disrupted and Damaged."
