yup the Rhino kicks major A**

the S.A. is it ignores the movement and firing penalties that disruption gives...

so when its disrupted it can still move and fire normally but still gets the minuses to defense ...

somepeople call this unit and uber unit and now u know why :)

The Rhino may be good (and my favorite), but it still dies as easily as any of the shermans. I have yet to find it overpowering. The Screaming Ealges though...

ya, its totally broken. veteran unit SA is far better than ss-detrmination- WHY? (and at that cost the rhino is seriously über-über)

the rhino come on guys its the easy eight sherman.it can transport a soldier ,better armor.and so if the rhino can enter the trees with out roleing the dice to enter.it makes up for it with excellent suspension.and the veteran ability is nice on the rhino do not get me wrong.but the extra die on vehicle attack makes up for it.now if they make the marine corps sherman with the flamethrower now my opinion will change.watch the movie sands of iwo jima.and watch those babys in action .they had better and longer range when firing the flame thrower.

I agree that the E8 is a good tank but for 54 pts I could field 2 Rhinos and have a much better chance at killing a TIGER I than a E8 does...

well the m4a1 is nice and point wasyou can get 2 for the easys 54 points.give me the easy 8 .till the marine corps one comes.and Lotus Stojakovics coin was a wooden nickel and is still spinning ..lol

I almost picked the easy 8. The Superior Armor SA was tempting but getting a Sherman into cover is more so.

For some reason I like the Rhino sculpt better, and it ain't the hairclippers in the front. ...just like it.

With verteran crew & bushcutters, it doesn't die as easily as other shermans.
If you disrupt an M4a1. You can kill it easily before it can move away.
If you disrupt a Rhino it runs away through the nearest forest hex.

As for paratroopers, assume it's turn:7-10;
Try using 5 SE-Paratroopers to keep 2 Rhinos away from the objective.
Now try the same thing against 2 M4a1's.
The M4a1's will die (to close assaults) the Rhinos will survive and win the game.
