Seems like a good weapon against it anyway. Most strike and fade vehicles are rendered impotent if they lost the ability. The threat of a plane blowing up your vehicle might make you think twice about its effectiveness, especially since most s&f vehicles are pretty weak. btw, this isn't an anti-plane site, I love em, it's just an observation. Thoughts?
I welcome this change of tactics.
It will show for some fresh change in the way armies are built and played.
I was particularly waiting for strike and fade to be less über since most allies built that I play against has those infuriating humbers... they go through infantry like a hot knife through butter...

But I wouldn't say that S&F will be made useless...
We will have to think twice though before throwing S&F in the thick of a battle...

i'll have to second what MR. G said
the s&f won't be made useless

Isn't the solution to just play it safe with your strike & fade units until you take out our enemies' aircraft (with flamethrowers, snipers, what have you)? Once the aircraft are dead, we are back to pre-Set III tactics.

That's debatable... I'd prefer losing a 8 point S&F vehicle that takes out a sniper and save my 21 (or?) plane than lose that same plane to get my S&F units to work...
