Thanks. I wish I had better lighting. The first lamp I had my dad brok while fixing a radio. So I need to buy another one for better lighting because it is horrible. The tracks came from FoW web site.

That's a Guards KV-1 if I'm not mistaken?

If I get the time, I think I might also paint my 2 IS-2's to match the Guard color... I hate that winter camo

Good idea. Are these the fuel cans from Flames of War or Command Decision? How is the scale compared to the A&A minis?

I bought them from a model train store. The cans are about the same size as the FoW can you get in stowage packs.

Thanks for posting them :)

 Dejavu dude, your objective hex is dead on with mine, same oil drums as well, only mine is on a plain green hex, no snow.
I do not have access to a digi camera or I'd post mine to the Modeling Section.:(
What did you use to achieve the "snow" effect?
Nice work bro!

No, a Baby, definately a baby. I want to see you apply the mixture with a baby. Lick the baby first to make the hairs straight, like any good fine tip brush though.

Love the swastika flag stoja, nice touch. I've tried pennants draped over the side, and I use swasticas for that, but never tried a flag-type pennant. Despite what the symbol stood for, its still a magnificant battle standard, maybe the best ever. It reminds me of the "battle of the buldge" movie where you see all the pennant flags on thier model battle map.
Man-o-man, would I love to have those very exact tank models they used in the command center for that battle, wouldnt that be a hoot on ebay. Wouldnt be painting those though.

Too bad the symbol is ruined. What it originaly ment was cool. Which was Protection, and peace which was used in many cultures and is still used in some such as southern asia.

Actually the original symbol for peace, protection, luck, etc. is basically a mirror image of the Nazi swastika. The arms of the bent cross go in the opposite direction on the original, which is still used in some areas of south asia.

well not much to it other than a paint prush. In light amounts at one time so it may take a bit longer to finish one stripe then to get a bunch of paint at once.
