Default Playmats seem flimsy...

Has anyone laminated the playmays. I know they are tougher than normal paper, but I just got the game and feel they could be a bit more substantial. Has anyone had durability issues with the playmats or tried to bolster them?

Thanks!

I've used mine several times and never had a problem with them wearing or ripping.

Our gaming group has a set that has seen well over 40+ plays, and the mats are still quite well preserved. Of course, we're careful not to get them wet or abuse them in any way.

Laminating is certainly a viable option if you're worried about wear.

The only replacement that I've made to my set is getting rid of the cheap chips and replacing them with better quality, clay ones.

They do seem to hold up well. And fold nicely into the box.
