Default General Rules Questions

Many of these may be obvious, but I was hoping for some clarification:

1. What actually designates someone as "the attacker?" For example, if I land on a space occupied by another player, I am technically attacking him or is he attacking me for landing there. I ask because it applies to ties; the rules say "the attacker wins."

2. How many items can be used in a single combat? One? All that you have? And is there an item limit per officer/pirate? We've currently been using a limiting factor of two per figure just because it seems silly to be able to use 3 blunderbusses on one guy. If we assume that they are being used by the officer and his crew, then it makes sense NOT to limit the items.

Thanks,

Mark

1. If you land on a space with another player already on it, YOU are the attacker.

2. You may only use 2 weapons to attack. One for each hand unless a card tells you different.
