thanx for clearing that up for me Grenze.
I never played Panzer General, but this scenario might get me back into plaing A&A miniatures. |

So if you lose a game, does your superior tell you, "Your services are no longer needed" while he cocks his Luger?

Hehehe, Well being as you are the "Superior" I would say your being rather hard on yourself. Losing is almost inevitable. France is a very tuff nut to crack as is Early North Afrika with the Italians. The key is how you manage your force. If you win at all cost in one Battle it garuantees defeat in the next. Historicly this is accurate as almost all offenses From the Army Level down to Company attempt to follow up Attacks with Counter-Attacks when the enemy has stalled and exhausted themselves.

Even if you dont have time to play the full Campaing you will find some nice quick Scenarios here. Great for a fast game that gives you Historical unit lists for each battle to Build your force. No power gameing here. Each unit has a max number that can be purchased. Find out what its like to battle with those units that have been collecting dust. You may find that against their historical Advasaries they were actualy useful.

We played through Poland and the first France scenario the other day and are quite pleased by the scenarios and the game mechanics. Question. For those that have played.. do you find the 5 turn limit (vs. 7 per standard A&A) too limiting. We were thinking about tweaking that portion of the scenario. Open to comments.
thanks |
