That's my take too. The forumini has much more activity at the moment, but that's possible to be overturned in the future. We shall see. After all, the forumini is more about new creations, more about WAS, trading and online games, while gleemax is more for casual talk and is heavily leaning towards AAM. I can't see why they shouldn't be both checked daily by the fans, especially if the Gleemax employees get used to us and show some good will in the future.
As for our obnoxious advertising behaviour, well I can't apologise enough. I've asked our mods to tone down their sigs and stop repeating themselves . You can't blame them for their enthusiasm though; passion and tensions forge great communities .

Maybe I went over the top a bit when I said that G*****x is our enemy. Anything relating to AAM or WaS is not our enemy. I am registered on G*****x, but I don't really post there because there is nothing much going on.
And as a favor to you all, I got rid of my big red sig and replaced it with NeuralDream's. (on the Gleemax boards)

This is one reason we set up the Caspian Sub website. We want an archive that is controlled by users not the publisher.

Well, I read evey post here.
New site seems to load slower. And nobody is there in the boardgame section. Since it is the offical Avalon Hill board, Gleemax of WotC , (in my opinion) should advertise a small banner at www.boardgamegeek.com or www.consimworld.com and www.grognard.com. Let people know about it. So lets get there forum going with more posts. I'm 50 years old, and my last game of Africa Korps, we STILL had a difference of opinion on some movement rule! Fun to ask other peoples opinion of their take of the rules. I'm more of a old school gamer. I do have about every version of Axis and Allies board game. I played with my son, a good opponent. I have a huge box of worn out Avalon Hill games from the 60s and 70s. Tough to find opponents. And last but not least, since I just rambled on...... ![]() |

They had another game called "the Journey of St. Paul", a bible subject game. They used colors on the dice instead of dots.
I have NEVER seen one. But Avalon Hill had it in an OLD ad. |

Will we still be able to log in even though we can't post? The search function is only available when you're logged in.
