Play a 200 pt game last night...
my army consisted of german and Italian soldiers and armor... at one point in the game My Carro was Damaged and Disrupted and I had to roll a 2 or less for it not to go BOOM... and I rolled a 1, first time ever I was happy about rolling a 1, also first time ever having a Carro not die on me that way... I know not that exciting, I guess you had to be there... anyone else have any similar circumstances??heheh he said *** |

I've actually had quite amazing luck with the Carro, and Italians in general. I've never had a Carro blow up on me through Highly Flammable (though they've still died normally). They are quite decent tanks despite the drawback, and overlapping fire is great.

I agree, I love the carro's, they make for interesting pieces to play with and occasionally blowing up is fun too. Overlapping fire has saved my butt a lot also.

I was playin a 200 pt game and I had a panzer IV and an SS panzer IV and a pak 40, flamingo, panzer III and supporting infantry and commanders and the only armor that did survive was the Italian tank that I was using. I was amazed because my opponent still had a Crocodile, Easy Eight and Cromwell.

Those arent very good odds
![]() I find with Carros you usually gotta go first because of their S.A. but that worked well with my armored car... blackshirts did well because my opponent went more for my SSPG |

The Carro is a great tank...we use them all the time and they are quite effective..then we did some research and made some house rule changes and well...I think it is more historically accurate now but NOT such a good tank

I love the carro -- my friend always smiles when I field them because we already know what is going to be the funnest roll of the game. I have two now, and can't wait to hopefully field a larger all Italian force by set 5 when Italy really gets rounded out fully.
And you're right, they are effective. His infantry don't smile, they keep their distance.
