The P38 not only sports a good mould but it is also painted very well, compared to most units.

I agree in general they came out of the box with the least bending of wings. And come on it's a twin engine fighter what is not cool about that?

Compare the AA version here and here to the actual version here. I'd thought of making a conversion but I think I'll just keep an eye out for an actual Spit of appropriate scale.... one with rockets !! YEAH!!!! Until then, it'll be the Typhoon although the Corsair is pretty damn close! (Courtesy The 109 Lair and Wings 2.12)
