Advertising or promoting a business or commercial site
is an action disallowed by the Code of Conduct, so... If an reputable outside company were to, for example, offer a great product that enhanced an Avalon Hill game such as Axis and Allies: War at Sea by producing for sale a set of replacement tokens that replaces the thin paper ones included with the game with hard plastic, would I be able to share this on the War at Sea board without breaking the Code of Conduct? |

Originally the code said no, this was do to a number of legal factors about endorsing products and intellectual property rights plus just general spam in some cases.
however, several products have been developed that are a benefit to the community and we have revised/reviewed this part of the code. Here's my best advice: Talking about such products and where to find them is ok. Outright blantant advertising is not.
