Here is my Panzer Patrol;100 pts, 10 units;
30 Panzer IV Ausf. G 15 sIg 33 20 Pak 38 Anti-tank 10 Mg 42 machine gun 9 Type 82 Mortar 9 Mauser Kar 98 7 SS-Haupsturnfuhrer I use the the Panzer to hang back and use my infantry with the sIG 33 to move onto the objective. The bad thing about the panzer is that it can get overwhelmed quickly by fast moving shermans. When the allies run up on my Panzer I try to use my pak 38's for rear shots. The MG42 and the mortar team are my infantry killers. The Mauser's are good filler and often can go the distant with the Haupsturn special abilities. What armies have y'all built or plan to build. Any suggestions?

My favorite force that I have actually played is the following:
1x28pt T34/76 1x21pt M4 Sherman 1x15pt M5 Stuart 1x8pt Humber Scout Car 1x4pt M1 Garand 2x8pt Vickers MG team 1x7pt Red Devil Captain 8 units 99pts total The Stuart, Humber, and MG teams are great infantry killers. Use them to knock out any infantry that threaten your vehicles. The Stuart is also good against light enemy vehicles. The T34 is solid defensively, use it to take the objective and bring an MG team along with it (transport) to defend against infantry attack. The Sherman is effective in anti-armor support for the T34, but should remain in cover when possible. I'm considering taking a 6 pounder in place of an MG team to give the force more anti-vehicle power. I'm also hoping to get enough Russian infantry to replace the Captain and Garand team with a Commissar and 2 standard Russian infantry to represent a lend-lease force. |

The soviet tanks are super tough. I like to drive them backwards to mess with my opponent. |

I'd definately go for the higher numbers of units. Three troops > two troops. Despite stats, thats one more possible target, one more attack spent and one more option to have. Even if you just use them to eat up attacks, those are attacks that may not be hitting more important units, and if the enemy ignores them, thats three infantry to can use to spike objectives. |

I'm getting so tired of seeing "armies" with more vehicles than infantry units.
It's not your fault. The system rewards vehicles. But I'd really like to see a lot less game emphasis on tanks. I'd really love to see tournament formats where you get 100 pts and can only spend 50 on vehicles. Call it "Standard Format." Someday I hope to see a Campaign format. Build three 100 point armies, with no more than 3 vehicles total spread between the 3 armies (A, B, & C). At the start of each round, your opponent rolls a die to see which one of your armies is encountered: A, B, or C.
