Default My all Russian Fun Army

So heres my little army that i played today and wiped out a german army...
he wasnt rolling that well I guess

150 Pts:

Cossack 9
3- PPSn-41 SMG 9
Fanatical Sniper 8
3- Calvary 12
7TPdw 8
T-70 12
T-34/76 28
2- KV-1 64

The T70 took out a Panther 2nd turn, I had a very good laugh about that
I took the objective early on the hill config.
I managed to destroy all 4 of his armor by turn 6

was a very fun Mechanized army but some changes are due...
Problem was the SMG units did nothing the whole game but his soldiers didnt advance very much,my 7TPdw managed to kill his sniper and pin down the rest of his soldiers before it got blown off the map with his SS panzer

tell me what you think but remember it was an army for fun and
all about a Russian and Polish Mechanized army

You should add a t34/85, being able to reroll a 1 is awesome! Good times! Nice build, i will have to try it myself. any hints on deployment strategies?

The Axis player had 2 panzer 3's a panther and a bunch of SSPG's and Commander...

I played again last night with the same army but with a couple differences

I changed an 2 SMG and the T76 for a Guards ... worked much better...

its a very fast army... the sniper was very slow so im goin to change a calvary and the sniper for another T70

I won against a panther and a King Tiger with this build... by turn 7 I had the objective and hadnt lost a tank thanks to Hulking mass...and all my opponent had left was the King Tiger... My calvary took out his sniper losing only one calvary to the sniper...

It was a very fun game and I learned more tactics about this build winning both games now and losing none with this build...

when you say take out, i assume you mean you destroyed it?I also assume you only used your T70 to do so(by what you said in your thread)?

So what you're saying (and wanting us to believe) is that you were able to get a point blank shot (0-1 hexes) on the rear of his Panther and then roll 8 successes with 8 dice?

Either I'm assuming WAY too much...or you're the luckiest SOB i've seen.

I agree with Jiminy: I'm a big fan of the T-34/85! My prescription for a King Tiger headache---Take two of these and call me in the morning

Yes it was a very lucky roll on my behalf, but also my enemy brought it into my hex but not before I could Disrupt it, then in my assault phase I finished the job and my opponent could not roll the 6 cover save...

Yes I let him into my hex to minus his cover save...

Yes It was very lucky and also very thoughtless on my opponents behalf underestimating my little T70
