Vancouver diplomacy Con 29 Spet-1 Oct

Hello All,

This years Vancouver Diplomacy Con (New Name "Canuck Con") is coming up the 29th Sept - 1 Oct. The Con will be hold at The Guildford Inn http://www.guildfordinn.ca/ in Surrey, just outside of Vancouver, BC. This is the same city that is hosting the World Diplomacy Con from the 9-12 Aug 2007 at the UBC campus. For room rates and info contact Riaz at mr_smooth77@yahoo.com his family owns the Hotel!

There will be 4 rounds starting friday the 29th at 7pm, followed by rounds saturday at 9am and 6pm. And the final round sunday morning at 8am. The final round will have a top board consisting of the 7 best total scores after the saturday night round. All rounds will play until completion except for the final round which will end in time for a 4:30pm awards presentation. We will be using Jakes scoring system that was used last month at WAC and will be used next year at WDC. Cost will be $25.00. All the usual awards will be given out. House rules will be set out closer to the Con.

If you have any new people that have never attended a Con before, bring them out with you. The cost is $10 for new players and/or anyone 18 years old or younger. If they can write orders then they can play!!! Just remember never let Nathan have Belgium! LOL

I plan on visiting UBC, the location for next years WDC and show people the accommodations and venue site. This will take place friday the 29th, we will meet at the The Guildford Inn at 2pm and proceed to UBC from there. So if you interested let me know. It will be a great chance for people to see the awesome site that was chosen for next years WDC.
