Default tragicmishap's Challenge

I challenge anyone to build an army and beat yours truly playing the following armies:

2 SS-PG
2 Wermacht Vet. Infantry
4 SS-ST
SNLF Fanatic
Grizzled Vet
Imp. Sgt
SS-Haup
Werm Expert Sniper
BMW
Tank Obstacle

AND

2X Croc
2X Stuart

Standard rules (unless the Expert rules are out by then, it which case we'd consider using those), standard map determined randomly, standard 100 point game.

That's the challenge. You must defeat both armies played by me using the same build. I'll offer a reward of something AAM related. Probably miniatures, but I'll figure that out later. But it will be significant as this would be a significant accomplishment. I've mentioned this challenge before but never this formally. I have a long memory, so this will stand for a good long time. This is not some sort of ego trip or attempt to sucker people. I really want to have a couple good games at a high skill level that might just change everyone's idea about how the game is to be played. Good luck.

EDIT:
Wow, I did not expect this many responses. Unfortunately I will probably not be able to take all of these challenges, so I'll have to choose some to not take. Sorry. If I have time we can come back to them later. Thanks to EricM 2404 gameplay might be much faster than when Lotus and I played way back when .

First, I hope it's clear only one person will get the prize for completing the challenge, and that's the first one to do it.

Secondly, I'm perfectly ok with mirror matches, although the actual mirror match would not be played. I would only play the mirror army against the other one. So if you wanted to try the infantry build then we would play only the infantry build vs the armor one.

Thirdly, this is not meant to be an ego match for either side. There will be no "public humiliation" involved. It's a thought experiment, and an incredibly difficult one. Anyone who accepts I'd respect regardless of the result. The very reason I propose it is that I haven't come up with a satisfactory solution, but I want to see what other people think is possible and ultimately, whether it is possible. Judging from the posts on this thread, I think the rest of us want to find out as well.

Fourthly, I decided what the prize will be. The winner would send me a list of AAM minis he/she considers to be worth ~$50 US, and if I see that it's reasonable, I'll send them to you for free. I have a decent job and I'm single so I have some extra mula to blow .

Lastly, since there are quite a few that have been suggested, I will only consider armies that are listed completely and specifically as I listed mine above (including a mirror match) and of course legal. To determine which builds and players I will play, I will put it to a vote in a seperate thread with a list of what I think are the top ten armies, and I'll play them all in the order they were voted. If you have an idea you have already posted but haven't listed it out completely to 100 points then please simply do so if you want it to be considered. I just read the entire thread and you guys are having a good discussion so keep it up (and I'll add some as well ) and that will help me decide too.

EDIT: The German infantry army was changed from it's original version due to the cost change of SS-PGs. The original version, at least the original version that was posted here, was:

4 SS-PG
3 SS-ST
2 SNLF Fanatics
Grizzled Vet
Imp. Sgt
SS-Haup
Werm Expert Sniper
2 BMWs

I see what you are doing. Can you beat an all soldier army and can you beat a tank heavy army with a single build is what you are trying to find out.

I think the best answer to both of those armies is to field something very similar to your 1st one. Is that a rule? You can't copy one of your armies?

Because, odds are, 1st one could beat your second. BMWs take down the Stuarts. SSPGs and SSStormtroopers can handle the Crocs in Turn 7 or earlier if the Crocs are bold enough with help from a headshot.

Unless you've got some kind of trick up your sleeve with your tank build that no one has though of.

Planes, Mortars, MGs would be a waste to use as they would be useless vs one of the builds.

Cool idea! (Btw, that first army is practically unstoppable methinks unless you built something SPECIFICALLY for it - which wouldn't work against other builds).

What 3 bricks? 2 Crocs and an AVRE? Then you'd have 5 left for a pony.
That might work. Use the pony KO the Imp Sgt or the SSHaup

the bricks are KV-1.

a 4 AVRE army would be pretty damn hillarious though.

I think that would fare pretty well against the german build but the UK build with the Crocs would be a BIG problem with those flamethrowers and hard defense.

As I said in the Expert Rules section, I've watched the 4 AVRE build in 'action'. It won. It was beyond boring. The German player simply couldnt kill them fast enough (he got 2) and took horrid losses at close range.

It was like watching bread go stale though...not a lot of fun.

I think maybe something like this:

11 x Defiant para
1 x screaming eagle capt.

Don't place them until turn six and duke it out. I'd say it could give you a 50/50 chance of winning both builds. How is that for BORING? But it has a fairly good chance of working against both builds.
